The customer experiences an easy to use and feature rich. Multiple category browsing, recommendations via the ‘People who buy this also buy:’ feature, a top 5 selling items feature as well as product sets allowing you to match products together (ie a Jacket and Trousers). A powerful store search ensures all your products are easily found.

Shopping baskets are remembered for the next visit so your customer can pick up shopping where they left off. Personal accounts are created by registering or purchasing allowing for fast data entry on subsequent visits. Customers can check the status of orders by logging back in, they can even leave a review of products.

Beyonds e-Commerce Engine contains features and facilities usually associated with much more expensive systems. Set out your store by adding your specific business parameters such as weights and measures, sales taxes, product screen views, etc and start to add products into your catalogue.

A fully flexible catalogue structure allows you to be in control and to structure your e-commerce in the way that you want. Whole categories and nested structures can be added and only made live when you are ready. This allows new product ranges or seasons items to be prepared and launched in a controlled way. Products can be members of multiple categories.

Products are added to your categories with other information such as price, weight, options, membership of product sets etc. You can even choose to make some items not available for purchase online, useful for displaying products or services that are special order or not held in stock.

Product images are cleverly optimised for web use as you upload them; a thumbnail and two other sizes of image are automatically created. In other words, upload a large image and the system will take care of the rest. Products can be configured into sets allowing the system to automatically show related items such as batteries to go with an electrical item.

A product cloning tool and comprehensive product options tools allow you to quickly configure colours, sizes etc rather than having to add multiples of a single product as some other e-commerce systems force you to do.

An official review feature and a rich content space allow you to fully enhance the information provided on a product by writing your review of a product or adding a whole free format web page about your product.

In line with Beyonds mission to provide findable sites, each products META data is available to search engines and your whole product catalogue can be uploaded and live with Google’s Froogle shopping search engine allowing your products to be found by millions of potential customers.

Full back end administration system allows you to process orders, print delivery notes, invoices, and refunds, monitor shopping carts, payments and a host of other features.

The comprehensive security model allows you to restrict certain admin functions to groups of people. So for instance, you could allow a third party to manage your order processing functions, but they would have no access to your products catalogue or other areas of your site.

Checkouts are flexible allowing you to offer more than one card payment processor, via Pay Pal or even to complete the transaction by mail or phone by not actually taking the money online. We integrate with over 40 payment processing companies and new ones are added all the time.
