Beyonds AnyNet technology allows you to create any number of ‘nets’ within your site. If you can think of a reason, then you can create an AnyNet in minutes and for no additional cost.

In Beyond, each page knows who it’s visible to. You set these properties when you create or amend a page. It's part of our Page-Part-Publish methodology.

You can set the page to be only visible to certain groups of people. This way it is easy to create the appearance that you have created a special web site just for that group. All other menu items can be made to disappear once they log in, leaving just the new menu structure. This method creates the illusion that you are running many ‘Nets’ from your site where actually it’s the security system that is determining who views or sees what pages.

Examples

In the example above the company has created a Customer Net for each important customer. Specific content files and information can be made available just for this company and its employees by creating a Group for them and setting the appropriate page security.

In this example, when a Contractor logs into the site, all the other normal web pages can be made to disappear from view, leaving a new set of pages for the contractor group to see. The first page in the menu hierarchy that can be viewed becomes the new home page. Add appropriate welcoming content to that page, and you’ve quickly built a custom Contractors Net!
